[Barolo Event] November 15, 2024

A one-day collaboration event will be held at Hibiki Kazeniwa Akasaka.

The partner is Fontanafredda, a prestigious winery that continues to produce the high-end wine "Barolo" in Piedmont, Italy.

This is a "winemaker's dinner" to commemorate the visit of Chief Customer Officer Roberto Bruno to Japan.

A "winemaker's dinner" is a "meeting to enjoy wine and food" hosted by wine producers and importers.

You can enjoy a buffet-style meal that matches the wine while listening to various stories about winemaking and the passion for winemaking.

Fontanafredda, with which we will collaborate this time, is one of the largest wineries in the Piedmont region, which borders Switzerland and France across the Alps.

This prestigious winery has been producing Barolo for over a century and has raised the reputation of Barolo worldwide with its high quality.
Rather than becoming complacent with their unshakable reputation both in Italy and abroad, in recent years they have been making better wines under new policies that emphasize sustainability, such as the "Green Renaissance" of environmentally friendly winemaking and contributions to the local community.

To pair with the prestigious wines, Hibiki's cuisine theme for this occasion is "Japanese."
Guests can enjoy the pairing of wine with dishes made by Hibiki's chefs that make use of Japanese ingredients and cooking methods.
