"Tsukasabotan Co., Ltd., Kochi Prefecture"
About 400 years ago, when Yamauchi Kazutoyo was appointed to Tosa and his chief retainer Fukao Izuminokami Shigeyoshi was given the Sagawa domain, there was a sake shop that followed Fukao to Sagawa. Since then, traditional brewing has continued. Tanaka Mitsuakira, a former Minister of the Imperial Household, who was born in Sagawa Town, loved Sagawa sake and wrote a letter of encouragement saying, "It is the most mellow sake in the world, and you should become the king of sake in the future," and the sake was named "Tsukasabotan," and the company was established.
